Meet Dr. Kristin M. Horman, DDS
Passionate About Smiles. Committed to You
Growing up in a family of medical professionals, I was inspired by the values of care, service, and precision. But I also knew I wanted a career that allowed me to care for others and maintain a healthy work-life balance. A high school job in a dental office opened my eyes to how fulfilling and flexible dentistry could be—and I’ve never looked back.
Fun Facts About Dr. Horman

Why I Chose Orthodontics—And Why Invisalign Is My Focus
Though I started as a general dentist, I was always drawn to orthodontics. Over the years, that interest grew into a full-fledged passion—especially for Invisalign treatment. I’ve been certified and working with Invisalign since 2005, and it’s become the heart of my practice. What I love most about Invisalign is how it empowers patients. It's discreet, effective, and adaptable—and I’ve seen first-hand how it transforms both smiles and confidence. I’ve treated more Invisalign patients than anyone else in the area, but I’m still just as hands-on and invested in each case as I was when I began. My goal is always the same: to deliver exceptional, personalized care with outstanding results.
A Practice Built on Trust and Comfort
At Robinwood Smiles, we’ve created a space where patients feel safe, respected, and heard. You’ll never be rushed or pressured. Instead, we focus on education—giving you all the information you need to make the best choices for your health. We believe dentistry should be a partnership. That’s why our whole team is committed to building relationships, answering your questions, and offering compassionate care at every step.
Recognition That Reflects Dedication
While I don’t chase awards, I’m honored to be recognized for my commitment to excellence in Invisalign. I’m a Diamond+ Invisalign provider (top 1% worldwide), a Fellow of the American Academy of Clear Aligners, and one of just 30 U.S. dentists invited to the 2025 Global Invisalign Symposium in Dubai.
Community Roots, Real Impact
Giving back is central to who I am, both as a dentist and a person. I provide pro bono care through programs like the Donated Dental Services initiative and Invisalign’s Acts of Random Kindness. Our practice also supports local schools, fire departments, and organizations like Girls Inc. and the Mental Health Association of Frederick.
Compassionate Care, Always
At the end of the day, my philosophy is simple: treat people with kindness, respect, and honesty. Every patient is different, and your care should reflect that. I’m here to listen, to educate, and to support you in making decisions that feel right for you—without pressure or judgment. I look forward to meeting you and being part of your journey to a confident, healthy smile.
